I'm 2!

Happy Birthday to me!

My birthday celebration began with a party at school. Due to spring break week, we were missing Sophie, Emma Ruth and Sam, but we still partied hard and enjoyed cupcakes, ice cream and juice in celebration of my turning two!

Mommy and Daddy hosted our family of Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, Aunt & Uncle and they showered me with gifts. I got cool sports toys, artwork for my room, clothes, toys, puzzles and books. I also got this cool chair and a wagon! We had a great afternoon and I am so blessed to be loved by so many wonderful people. Thank you to everyone who made my birthday so very special!

one sick puppy

Over the past two and half weeks I've been through the ringer. It all started with pink eye in both eyes and an ear infection. Once I started an antibiotic the really yucky stuff kicked in and I even ran a 102+ degree fever for 4 straight days! Mommy and Daddy battled diligently to keep me hydrated and somewhat nourished. Upon finally turning the corner the day before my 2nd birthday, they decided to treat me to my favorite breakfast of Chic-fil-A minis and chocolate milk in honor of turning 2! Unfortunately, the meal didn't agree with my stomach and I spent the rest of my special day on the couch. Thankfully, Mommy and Daddy were ready to snuggle and we watched Playhouse Disney all day.

I've become quite the lounger and have even begun memorizing a few of my favorite episodes. I really like Special Agent OSO right now. He cracks me up...

Chic-fil-a milkshakes

Mommy's friend Lulu shared with us the wonder that is a Chic-fil-a milkshake. Mommy treated us one afternoon and now we're all hooked.

You may have noticed that there hasn't been much blog activity lately.

I take full responsibility. Every time Mommy pulls out the camera, I run screaming

"No, no, no camera."

Thankfully she was able to grab a couple of photos over the weekend. Enjoy!

Christmas

Our Christmas holiday began with a special day with Mommy and sidewalk chalk.


Nana came and helped us finish up our Christmas shopping and left us with her famous sugar cookies. YUMMY!



On Christmas Eve we were visited by Grandmother, Granddad and Uncle Craig.
I must have been a good boy this year, because they came bearing gifts.

Santa came by my house on Christmas morning and I received

lots of Disney toys! My favorite is Handy Manny's tools!

I also really like coloring right now.

On the 26th we were visited by Granddaddy, Nana, Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Tyler and Great-Grandma. They, too, came bearing gifts and I received this awesome tricycle!

I LOVE IT!

We have been very blessed this holiday season and look forward to a wonderful year ahead.
