Whew...

... must have been a rough night.

A beautiful gift

Look at this beautiful table and chairs that Granddad made for me! They are just my size and carefully crafted with love just for me!!!!! Thanks Granddad!

What a weekend!

Aunt Bonnie came to visit me this weekend! I loved playing with her and listening to her read story after story. Aunt Bonnie took Mommy out with friends Saturday night to celebrate her birthday!

Daddy and I stayed home to enjoy ESPN and some male bonding.

Last night, Mommy shared her chocolate pudding with me. YUMMY!

Valentine's date

On Friday, February 13th I helped Daddy surprise Mommy with a wonderful Valentine's Day treat! Mommy came home to two dozen roses, a huge box of candy and "I love you" spelled out in rose petals. Then we took Mommy out to dinner and once I fell asleep Mom and Dad watched "Nights in Rodanthe." Way to go Daddy!

lions, tigers & bears... OH MY!

Ok. So there were no bears, but it was still a great outing. Mommy took me to the zoo with the Williams and Frame families. I got to experience everything with my new friend Jack.
We had a great time babbling and sharing puffs.
We even rode the train!
I was most impressed with this gorilla.
I kept touching the glass to see if I could reach him.
I loved hanging out with Jack!
Mommy and I were exhausted that evening but it was well worth the trip. We are working on our animal sounds so that the next time we go with Daddy and the grandparents I'll impress them with my skills.

baptism

On December 14th I was baptised! Several of our friends and relatives traveled to Birmingham to witness the event and promise to raise me in God's word. Nana made my beautiful baptism outfit. It was a wonderful day and Mommy and Daddy were so proud of how well I behaved!

band-aid

Mommy found my missing band-aid!!!!! I fooled her by hiding in my outfit, so when she did the laundry it turned up in the washing machine. She is THRILLED that I didn't swallow it after all.

Yeehaw

This is such a special outfit. It has been passed down through my Daddy's family for 35 years. My great-uncle Craig wore it first, followed by cousin Adam, Daddy, cousin Alex and cousin Allen. The quilt I'm sitting on was hand sewn by great-aunt Carol and has pictures of all of them wearing this very outfit. Mommy thinks I make an adoreable cowboy!
