Christmas

Our Christmas holiday began with a special day with Mommy and sidewalk chalk.

Nana came and helped us finish up our Christmas shopping and left us with her famous sugar cookies. YUMMY!

On Christmas Eve we were visited by Grandmother, Granddad and Uncle Craig.
I must have been a good boy this year, because they came bearing gifts.

Check out my new chair. It's just like Mommy and Daddy's!

Santa came by my house on Christmas morning and I received
lots of Disney toys! My favorite is Handy Manny's tools!

I also really like coloring right now.

On the 26th we were visited by Granddaddy, Nana, Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Tyler and Great-Grandma. They, too, came bearing gifts and I received this awesome tricycle!

I LOVE IT!
We have been very blessed this holiday season and look forward to a wonderful year ahead.

Santa Claus

Santa Claus came to visit my school on Monday.
I'm not quite sure what I think of him...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Saturday morning Aunt Bonnie came to visit and played with me while
Mommy & Daddy put up Christmas decorations.
They were able to get everything done in about 2 hours!

Maggie helped by holding up the Christmas tree!

On Sunday, LuLu came over and took holiday photos. Here's a sneak preview...

After photos, I was quite tired and curled up in Mommy's lap for a nap.

Last weekend, we got to go to Alex. City for the day and spend some time with grandparents.
We had dinner at Grandmother & Granddad's and they had a tree decorated just for me!
The tree is decorated with clown ornaments and was Daddy's when he was my age.

gobble gobble

We started our Thanksgiving morning by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade
while Mommy worked on our yummy holiday meal in the kitchen.

The menu consisted of the following:
creamed corn

green bean casserole

Mommy's first turkey
and rolls!
(Special thanks to Aunt Bonnie for finding the perfect turkey recipe!)

We are so thankful for our many blessings!!!

special visitors

On Friday night, my Great-Grandma and Great Aunt Mary Sharon (GAMS) came by for a visit!
They played with me and encouraged me to say a few words.
We had a great time and I look foward to seeing them again soon!

pumpkin carving

On Sunday morning, Mommy and I carefully washed our pumpkin and began the carving.

Daddy did a wonderful job carving us a happy Halloween pumpkin!

Old Baker farm

Mommy and Nana took me to the pumkin patch this weekend.

I got to see this calf, along with a goat and some chickens.

We took a hayride to the pumkin patch!

I carefully chose my pumpkin.

We walked past the corn maze on the way back to the car. It was a wonderful day!

Waiting on Daddy

Would someone please tell my parents to buy me some new p.j.s?

dinner and a show

As part of our nightly routine, Daddy entertains me during dinner with silly faces and sounds.

I love it!!!

Where's the beef?

I've decided that I'm much to much of a "BIG BOY" to sit in my booster seat. I wanted to be closer to Daddy for breakfast Sunday morning, so I took it upon myself to create a more comfortable solution to dining.

I promptly asked Mommy for some grub.

RTR!

As a special treat for being a wonderful boy, Daddy brought me a few pieces of UA paraphernalia home from the game this weekend. I LOVE my new Alabama football!

Sissy Mags

I have become very affectionate with our family dog.
She lets me give her hugs!

I mentioned Maggie Mae in my very first blog post and haven't shared much about her since.
She is our trusted family pet. Mommy and Daddy refer to her as the "first born" but I'm not bitter. I love how soft her fur is and she tolerates me petting her gently and giving her hugs. Truthfully, I think she's thankful for the attention, but that's our secret.
Maggie turned 10 years old this summer. We are so blessed that she is part of our family and we cherish the time we have her.

new shoes

On Saturday, Grandmother took me shopping for new fall shoes. We got these cool tennis shoes and a pair of brown shoes, along with a few fall essentials and even my big boy bedding.

I love the sound my new shoes make on the tile floor!

lake weekend

We decided to spend the first two days of our holiday weekend at the lake enjoying one of the last weekends of summer. We made it down just in time to see the sunset on Friday.
Great-Grandma joined us on Saturday and I got to spend some wonderful quality time with her.

On Sunday morning, Granddaddy took us all on a boat ride and even let me drive!

I really love going on boat rides! Once we got back, I even swam for a while.
As you can imagine, I napped like a champ.
Thanks to Granddaddy, Nana, Aunt Bonnie and Great-Grandma for a wonderful weekend!

I'm a big brother

Meet my baby brother or sister! Mommy and Daddy keep telling me I'm going to be a wonderful big brother. I am already pointing to Mommy's belly and saying "bebe." Stay tuned...

big boy weekend

This past weekend I had the opportunity to stay with Granddaddy and Nana.
We had a ball! (literally) They kept me busy with games and walks around the neighborhood.
Also, I loved chasing all the pets through the house.

Great-Aunt Patti and Great-Uncle Jerry came by to visit as well!
I was a very brave big boy without Mommy and Daddy. They are very proud of me!
